Hydatidiform mole also known as hydatid mole, molar pregnancy, gestational trophoblastic disease is a type of fertilization abnormality, when only the conceptus trophoblast layers proliferates and not the embryoblast, no embryo develops, this is called a “Hydatidiform mole".
