The aim of the study was to produce material that could be used as a conductive layer in an antistatic package and which could be manufactured at industrial scale on a conventional paper machine. The conductivity of paper was increased by combining a conductive polymer (polyaniline doped with dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid) with birch pulp fibres. DBSA doped polyaniline in water dispersion appears anionic and also fibre surface is anionic. That's why cationic electrolyte (e.g. cationic starch, C-PAM) must be added on fibre surface before polyaniline addition.
