Dados sobre a área de vida de um grupo de muriquis-do-norte (Brachyteles hypoxanthus) foram coletados na RPPN Feliciano Miguel Abdala, Caratinga, Minas Gerais, durante dois anos consecutivos (Setembro de 2008 a Julho de 2009) e (Agosto de 2009 a Julho de 2010), quando o grupo era composto por 102-109 indivíduos, e comparados com dados sobre a área de vida do mesmo grupo entre 1998/1999, quando o tamanho do grupo era aproximadamente 50% menor.
