Our experiment included lexical material related to a particular field of technology. Visual, sound and graphic forms of the technical terms were used during the training as obligatory elements. The proposed memorization situations were also of two types: memorization from a sheet of paper, memorization using the application. Based on a comparison of the results obtained, conclusions were drawn about how effective/ inefficient the use of currently popular electronic applications for learning English is.
