The present study analyzes the school motivation in a complex way. It is based on the hypothesis that the 10-14 age group consciously interprets their role in the educational process, their status is related to social change. Students are able to define their relationship to school, the factors that hinder and help them; they interpret the mechanism of action that binds them to learning and expanding knowledge. The focus of the research is primarily on the nature and type of this attitude. The empirical research focused on pupils of age 10-14 (they are in grades 5-8).
