© The Royal Society of Chemistry 2011HIV-1 inhibitor sifuvirtide presents increased affinity for cationic dipalmitoylethyl-phosphatidylcholine (EDPPC) in contrast to viral/raft-mimicking (VRM) membranes. When associated to sifuvirtide, EDPPC-containing vesicles fuse with VRM vesicles.
