The blenniid fishes of the collection of the Aquário Vasco da gama were subject to a systematic revision leading to the ellaboration of the present catalog. This collection is composed of specimens from three different origins: King Carlos' collection, Comissão Central de Pescarias and Aquário Vasco da Gama, collected between 1896 and 1936. A part of Gonçalves'work (1941) in completed and the problem involving the identification of his Blennius sp. is solved. Meristic characters are presented for each species
