ObjectiveTo explore and synthesise evidence of asylum-seeking women's experiences of maternity care in the UK.DesignA systematic review and thematic synthesis of peer-reviewed qualitative evidence. Relevant databases were searched from 2000 until 2018. Study quality was appraised using the Critical Appraisal Skills Programme (CASP) qualitative research appraisal tool.Setting and participantsUK-based studies which describe asylum-seeking women's views and experiences of maternity care.FindingsSix studies were included for thematic synthesis.
