Macroeconomics, development economics, and biographical topics: Two years in the history of economic thought (2016-2017)

This article provides a formal account of some of the major themes that shaped the history of economic thought during the biennium 2016-2017. It focuses on three areas, namely, macroeconomics, development economics, and the lives and ideas of selected economists or schools of economic thought.
