Decision support systems (DSS) are one of themost widely used management information systems in currentbusiness management. The focus of the paper is on theknowledge-based decision support systems, namely the KB-DSS,in support of contemporary business management decisionmaking. Business managers use KB-DSS can improve theirdecision making not only in terms of speed and accuracy butalso consistency.
