International audienceWe investigated the occurrence of tolerance to atrazine (2-chloro-4-ethylamino-6-isopropylamino-s-triazine) in soil microalgae by means of the pollution-induced community tolerance methodology. To this end, a natural soil assemblage of microalgae, reared under laboratory conditions, was used as experimental model. Experimental cultures were exposed to 0.46, 0.93, 1.85, 2.70, and 5.40 mg atrazine/L medium for 40 days.
