The research results of the effect of temperature and tensile stresses on the magnetic properties of structural steel 13CrMo4-5 were presented in the paper. Before the measurements, the cores of the test material were subjected to the step-cooling test, simulating the influence of the time flow and environmental conditions on the material. For the tests, three cores, each differing by the step-cooling test process duration were used. The paper also describes the step-cooling test process.
