Comparison of grain quality parameters of winter wheat varieties

Leidinio DOI: https://doi.org/10.7220/1822-9913.2020The research was carried out in 2018–2019 in Gelažiu village, Vadokliai eldership, Panevėžys district. The aim of the study was to compare the qualitative indices of different winter wheat grain varieties and their changes depending on the booting stage of nitrogen fertilization. The study investigated 2 factors. Factor A was variety: ‘Janne’, ‘Dagmar’, ‘Artist’, factor B: fertilized with urea, not fertilized with urea. One of the most important examples of the improvement of grain quality is the proper nitrogen of plant nutrition during the whole vegetation period, or especially safe journey. All varieties lack foliar fertilization during the study. Each variety depends on urea fertilizers and has accumulated its qualitative characteristics differently.
