Brooklyn is home to Hasidic Jewish Communities. According to this article, two Brooklyn neighborhoods have had over 100 positive test results for COVID-19. Mayor Bill de Blasio is said to have reported the potential of a “cluster” in the Hasidic communities. The Hasidic communities have held a number of weddings with a large number of guests, including one with over 200 guests. There is concern that large gatherings such as these weddings are potential sources for the spread of the coronavirus.
