PURPOSE: The aim of the study was to quantify the association between perceived everyday discrimination and binge eating among Latinas in the United States. METHODS: Participants included 1014 Latinas from the 2002-2003 National Latino and Asian American Study. Modified Poisson models with robust standard errors were used to estimate sociodemographic-adjusted prevalence ratios (aPRs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) of binge eating associated with overall and attribution-specific discrimination.
