In this study about Permanent Magnet Assisted Synchronous Reluctance Machines, it has been developed the control of a specific motor. The study has been performed to develop an algorithm of control that is able to get a high performance response of the machine in the whole range of speed and torque in which it is capable to work. In order to test the control, it has been created a simulation model that describes the electromechanical behaviour of this kind of machine and its inverter with the control elements altogether. The algorithms have been done with Matlab and the model for simulations has been created in Simulink
