A nonexperimental quantitative survey research design and the application of Moderated Multiple Regression (MMR) were applied. MMR was used to examine the research questions and the related hypotheses to investigate the effect of intent to stay (ITS) regarding emotional intelligence (EI) and the affective, continuance, and normative components of organizational commitment (OC) of Information Technology (IT) managers in the United States (US).
