The purpose of writing The Effect Participation on a Short-Term Mission Trip at Christ Community Church has on Increasing Missional Engagement is to examine the effects STM have on a believer’s missional engagement. This is accomplished through surveying and interviewing participants who have served on a STM cross-cultural setting for a period of seven-ten days. Sixty one STM participants answered online surveys and twenty were interviewed for a minimum of forty-five minutes. Results indicate a strong correlation of higher missional engagement compared to those who have not served on STM trips
