An equilibrated electrochemical system was observed when perturbed through an external potential to bring the system far from equilibrium. As time progressed, the current of the far from equilibrium system was measured with coupled nickel electrodes. Current efforts are focused on developing a connective methodology for systems that display oscillatory characteristics that stem from nonlinear chemical dynamics. These preliminary studies provide an understanding of two electrode systems coupled together along with the effect of external individual and coupled resistance
