Job satisfaction and job performance have been an interest to organization and academic researchers. There has been a long debate on the relationship between satisfaction-performance. Some studies identified the relationship of these factors were contradictory. In addition, we identified employee's satisfaction-performance was associated with their employee engagement. Despite these finding, Malaysia's employee engagement is low compared with other countries. We suspect there are other psychological or motivational factors influencing satisfaction-performance relationship.
