[ES] En este trabajo se presentan en primer lugar unas consideraciones generales sobre la aplicación de la robótica en un sentido amplio a funciones de asistencia personal atendiendo de un modo particular a las necesidades de las personas con discapacidad física o sensorial y cognitiva. El núcleo del trabajo consiste en la exposición de la configuración de una serie de sensores ultrasónicos para la medida de la distancia relativa entre los pies del usuario y el andador y a partir de esta información obtener parámetros descritivos de la marcha humana.
