Los compuestos cianogénicos, como compuestos del metabolismo del almendro, sufren cambios durante la formación de la semilla, si bien no hay mucha información sobre este proceso, aún hoy existen pocos estudios del comportamiento de estos compuestos durante su maduración en almendras.
