[EN] The main translation techniques used in Isaiah-LXX are described. The conclusion is that the translator was a Jewish priest and scribe of Egypt, coming probably from the district of Leontopolis wherehe carried out his work ca. 140 B. C. Contrary to other Septuagint translators which follow a Vorlage different from the Masoretic Text, the translator of Isaiah in general is faithful to the MT but he interprets the Hebrew oracles as fulfilled in the contemporary events of his world. These characteristics are illustrated by means of three concrete examples[ES] Se describen las principales técnicas de traducción empleadas en Isaías-LXX, y se concluye que el traductor fue un sacerdote y escriba judío de Egipto, probablemente del distrito de Leontópolis, el cual completó su obra en torno al 140 a. C. A diferencia de otros libros de LXX en los que se sigue un texto base distinto del masorético, el traductor de Isaías en general es fiel al hebreo masorético pero interpreta los antiguos oráculos como realizados en los acontecimientos contemporáneos que le tocó vivir.
