Many people use computers and smart devices on the Internet of Thing (IoT) networks without truly understanding how they work or what they can do. Therefore, the purpose of this project was to demonstrate how edge devices used gateways to connect to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) IoT platform and show what the AWS IoT platform can do. For this project, a Raspberry Pi 4 will act as a Gateway for the robot that connects all the camera sensors, motion sensors, and temperature sensors to transfer those data to the AWS IoT platform for analytic purposes.
