This item includes a segment of an a student interview in a Writing Intensive course in Tropical Plant and Soil Sciences at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. The interview was conducted in 2015 and in this clip the interviewee is responding with general advice about Writing Intensive courses.Brief excerpt from interview: I would tell myself that you do not have to be an excellent writer to take the class . . . take it as a tool to improve your writing . . . if you know that the professor is worth it . . . I did see him give a couple of tens because people learn and you reach that point . . . i think there are unreasonable professors out there who will not give As, but I have not had any yet
