The author quotes most of the studies about vegetal species realized in Corsica. He is first exposing a short analysis of the principal publications that had an impact in the insulary vegetal species’ knowledge. The results of these works show that the whole vegetal species and their ecology is well known and that the improvement in the local flora’s datas is notable. However, some environments (chalky outcrops, fresh forest, humid lawn, temporary ponds, littoral marsh) and some under-explored sectors, would necessit futur research that should concern some aspects of vegetation dynamic.
