Euphorbia characias and E. nicaeensis seed dispersal curves generated by ants are studied. Means (SD ; sample size ; locality) for two years at two sites (NE Iberian Peninsula) are similar : 1.34 m (1.07 ; n= 141 ; Collserola 1993), 0.97 m (1.49 ; n=140 ; Collserola 1994) and 0.87 m (0.1 1 ; n=60 ; Sant Daniel 1993). Data from the two study sites show shorter distances than published data of dispersal curves from southern hemisphere (Australia and South Africa).
