Life cycle of an Austropotamobius pallipes population, behavior and its control with estimate was studied. The results of the life cycle was the following : -copulation period : October to late December, -egg-laying period : November to January, -incubation time : five months, -hatching period : middle April to middle June, -molting period : April to October, -number of moults : between five and eight the first summer ; three moults in the second and the third summer ; two moults the fourth summer. The summèrs after, males moult twice per year, and females once per year. Activity was low in winter and at its lowest in March. It roses since April to May to a maximum during the sunmer.
