Indoor positioning has become an attractive topic of research over the past two decades. However, no satisfactory solution has been found taking into account both the energy e¢ciency and the complexity of the system. Recently, visible light communications research has opened up new possibilities for achieving energy-e¢cient indoor positioning with a relatively simple system conÖguration.
