Knowledge and control of transient phenomena occurring in utility networks and electrical equipment such as transformers and lighting arresters, is actually of big interest. A transformer connected to a utility network has to support to several kinds of overvoltages. The study of these overvoltages is necessary for the determination of the material isolation.
