Multivariate regressions for estimating adult height are presented based on height, skeletal age (SA), chronological age and midparental stature (MPS) of Turkish prepubescent or early adolescent girls. Discriminating these regressions with regard to information on the presence or absence of secondary sex characters, as well as menarche improves the estimations, especially in those who develop either early or late in respect to secondary sexual development and in postmenarcheal girls. The 3-variable regressions, neglecting sexual maturity, result in overestimation of adult height in early maturing girls.
