From the second half of the 1930s the Synthesis of the Arts is the focus of Le Corbusier's artistic thought. This text analyses the theoretical aspects expressed by Le Corbursier in the famous essay Ineffable Space of 1945, the first sculptures made with the cabinetmaker André Savina, the wall paintings made in Paris and Long Island and finally the artistic project for the Unité d'Habitation in Marseille
