Here, we discuss the design of a cloaking metasurface (MTS) capable to engineer the scattering of an antenna depending on the waveform of the impinging signal. The MTS consists of vertical metallic strips loaded with lumped-element circuits exhibiting a peculiar time-domain response. Depending on the waveform of the impinging signal, the designed MTS behaves either as an invisibility device (when the signal is a pulse) or a perfect electric conductor (for a continuous wave excitation). The proposed configuration paves the way to a new generation of self-tunable and reconfigurable cloaking devices for antenna systems
