Industries use water throughout the process, wasting huge amounts of water generating effluents with high levels of chemicals in need of treatment to be reused or released into the environment. In this context, this work was performed at the Laboratory of Environmental Engineering and Quality at Federal University of Pernambuco aiming to degradation of dye used in textile for industries through the use of solar energy as an alternative wastewater treatment.
