The present study identify the tourist elements valued by municipal governments, through the internet to attract visitors. Through observation sheets, criteria of quality of information for the touristare analyzed, in order to suggest improvements. Six cities of the twenty-four provincial capitals of Ecuador maintainan official tourism website, whichproves that the destinations dismiss their presence on the web and the construction of the destination brand identity. From the obtained results, the conclusion is that it is necessary to design the tourist brand of the remaining provincial capitals and enhance their presence in the internet under updated criteria of technology and accessibility in virtual environments, tourism products and serv...
