Abstract In this research the level of awareness, use and needs for digital support among visually impaired individuals in North Ostrobothnia was studied. This study also mapped the use and accessibility of digital healthcare services and barriers visually impaired face using digital services. Research goal was to identify good practices to be used in developing digital support for the visually impaired. Partner in this study was The Association of Visually Impaired in North Ostrobothnia.
