An analysis of the acceleration of maximum ground vibration has been conducted with the Mc Guiree method in Yogyakarta Special Region. This study aims to understand the value of maximum land acceleration with the Mc Guiree method and analyze zoning risk of earthquake hazard based on the value of maximum land acceleration in special areas of Yogyakarta. The data used in this research is taken from 1971 to 2014. The data of an earthquake is processed using the Mc Guiree method to get the maximum ground acceleration value and earthquake intensity using the Ricter method.
