This paper estimates reliability of an Offshore Wind Farm (OWF) considering wake effect as well as the failure probability of wind turbines. To calculate wake effect in the OWF, Jensen's wake model has been considered while OWF reliability analysis has been conducted considering random failure of wind turbines (WTs). Using the data of probability of WT failure, a sequential Monte Carlo method has been developed to generate the failure matrix. Two different scenarios, viz; without any wind speed forecast error and with ± 20% error in wind speed forecast, have been studied to justify the effectiveness of the proposed approach. The proposed methodology developed in MATLAB® has been used to estimate reliability of Horns Rev-1 OWF. © 2019 IEEE
