Nocturnal enuresis

Although nocturnal enuresis (or 'bedwetting') is common in young children, it is regarded in the majority of cases as part of the normal process of developing continence. It can, however, have a significant psychological impact on a young child, both emotionally and socially, and may be associated with feelings of helplessness, guilt, shame and loss of self esteem.
