Interreligious marriages are prohibited by religious rules, because basically all religions reject interfaith marriages and all religions require marriages to be of the same faith (one religion). According to the scholars there are many differences of opinion regarding interfaith marriages, including those of Imam Malik and Hanafiah schools saying interfaith marriages are forbidden to do. This opinion is far different from what is believed and conveyed by Imam Syafi'i schools that women who are free and permissible bookmakers are followers of 2 famous books (Torah and Gospel), they are Jewish and Christian, while Majusi is not included in the halal group
