The interaction between contextual characteristics, the way students learn and the way teachers teach opens up a range of issues and obliges teachers to be aware of the factors that influence what constitutes effective teaching. Identifying teaching styles requires adequate tools for evaluation that consider not only the didactic elements that shape the way teachers teach, but also the theoretical aspects.
