This project explores Northeast Ohio Farming by taking a close look at three local farms that source to Oberlin College CDS and OSCA: New Creation Farm, Rainbow Farms, and Tyler\u27s Farm. Through conducting participant observations, in-depth interviews, and outside research, narratives unfolded. The exhibition includes stories about first-generation farming, hydroponic farming, and animal husbandry. Embedded in these accounts are matters related to conventional versus sustainable practices, migrant farmworker programs, the romanticism of farm life, and clientele relations. This exhibition seeks to address some of the complexities of American farming by sharing stories behind the food on your Oberlin dining plate
