El objetivo del presente trabajo es explicar por qué los predicados no estativos responden como los estativos ante un conjunto de pruebas de estatividad cuando se construyen con la perífrasis progresiva española <estar + gerundio>. Nuestra hipótesis es que el Progresivo es un contenido de Aspecto de Fase.
