Development and Trial of Field Work Program in Community-Oriented Education －Center of Community: From Fukushi-Meister Training－

The objective of this study is to develop and try a fieldwork program of the regional cooperative education based on the practice of the Fukushi Community Program in the Fukushi-Meister Training provided by Nihon Fukushi University. As a result, the fieldwork programs were developed for 19 areas, and those programs were used during a spring seminar of the faculty of social welfare. In practicing fieldwork, such factors in the environment as the number of student participants, traveling time, presence or absence of students who need consideration need to be adjusted. Also, it was found that not only knowing the information on the area where a fieldwork takes place but also a lot of pre-learning, including learning the regional information in advance and sharing learning objectives with people whom students visit, are important.departmental bulletin pape
