PENGARUH PEMBERIAN KONSELING TERHADAP KEPATUHAN PENGGUNAAN ANTIBIOTIK PADA PASIEN INFEKSI SALURAN PERNAPASAN AKUT DI PUSKESMAS SIKUMANA

Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) is an infectious disease caused by viruses and bacteria. Therapy for ARI which caused by bacteria can be cured by antibiotics. In fact, there was so many resistance cases due to inappropriate used of antibiotics, including for ARI. Providing information about the appropriate use of antibiotics can increase patient adherence and also to prevent antibiotic resistance. The Aim of this study aimed to find out the effect of counseling on the adherence of antibiotic used in Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) Patients at Sikumana public health center.The design of this study was true experimental design. The sample used was 30 respondents. They were divided into 2 groups, namely the Test and Control groups, with random sampling techniques. The Test group was given the treatment of “Five O “counseling based on the guideline of the Community Smart Movement, Health Ministry of Republic  Indonesia, while the Control group were not given the treatment. Data collection was carried out by conducting a direct observation to the respondent's home using the Pill Count method (the remaining tabletscounting). The data obtained were analyzed used independent samples t-test statistical test. The data analysis showed the t value of 3.035 with p value = 0,000 (p <0.05) which means there were statistical differences in the two groups. This means that the counseling of lima O had effect on the adherence of antibiotic used in ARI patient at Sikumana Public Health Center.   Keywords: Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI), Lima O Counseling, Adherence Of Antibiotic Used , Pill CountInfeksi Saluran Pernapasan Akut (ISPA) merupakan penyakit infeksi yang disebabkan oleh virus dan bakteri.  Terapi ISPA yang disebabkan oleh bakteri menggunakan antibiotik. Faktanya, banyak kasus resistensi karena penggunaan antibiotik yang tidak tepat, termasuk pada penyakit ISPA. Pemberian informasi tentang penggunaan antibiotik yang tepat dapat meningkatkan kepatuhan pasien dan mencegah terjadinya resistensi antibiotik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konseling terhadap kepatuhan penggunaan antibiotik pasien Infeksi Saluran pernapasan Akut (ISPA) di Puskesmas Sikumana Rancangan penelitian ini adalah true experimental design. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 30 responden dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok, yaitu kelompok uji dan kontrol, dengan teknik random sampling. Pada kelompok uji diberikan perlakuan konseling lima O berdasarkan panduan gerakan masyarakat cerdas cermat kementerian kesehatan republik Indonesia sedangkan kelompok kontrol tidak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara observasi langsung ke rumah responden dengan menggunakan metode Pill Count (penghiutngan tablet sisa). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik independent samples t-test.             Hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai t hitung sebesar 3.035 dengan signifikansi p=   0,000 (p < 0,05) yang berarti terdapat perbedaan pada kedua kelompok secara statistik. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah ada pengaruh pemberian konseling terhadap kepatuhan pasien ISPA dalam penggunaan antibiotik di Puskesmas Sikumana..   Kata kunci : Infeksi Saluran Pernapasan Akut (ISPA), Konseling Lima O, kepatuhan penggunaan antibiotik, Pill Coun
