A transformation away from a carbon-based economy is essential for sustainable development and such a transformation required a new approach to education which embedded the concepts of sustainability. The course 'Sustainability in the Built Environment' is the first course that will be delivered under a 'blended mode' within the School of Property, Construction and Project Management at RMIT University. The course was delivered mainly online with couple of face-to-face workshops where students will be exposed to the principles and practices of environmental sustainable design.
