We propose a service-oriented framework for exploring networks of processes modeled as Web services. In particular, we apply this approach to biological processes that builds upon and extends existing biological representation methodologies. We present our prototype service exploration tool, named PathExplorer, to discover potentially interesting biological pathways linking servicemodels of biological processes. We describe an innovative approach used by PathExplorer to identify useful pathways and its service-based simulation strategy to support predictive analysis
