The diffusive and mechanical behavior of the tetraglycidyl diaminodipheny methane (TGDDM) resin-based Hercules AS4/3501-6 composite and the diglycidyl ether of bisphenol-A (DGEBA) resin-based Fiberite ANC3K/948A1 graphite/epoxy composites were investigated during water sorption at different temperatures. Several water sorption kinetic models and a water uptake-stress relaxational model were developed to predict dynamic water concentration and water-induced internal stress distribution in two-dimensional as well as one-dimensional model composites.
