National audienceThe aim of our study consists to model the interfaces in masonry structures taking into account the main mechanical phenomena which control their rupture such as adherence, slip, friction, the damage, etc. It is necessary to determine experimentally the behaviour laws and the numerical values of the mechanical characteristics of masonry to be taken into account in our model. Masonries are materials which have various properties according to directions because to the joints of mortars which behave like plans of weakness.
