International audienceIn this paper, we present a global computer science approach to deal with parallel computations. The proposed approach consists in managing at the same level either multithreading or distributed strategies, whatever the computation may be. The integration of the concept is held in a Java framework which proposes both, a pure object-oriented paradigm and, convenient libraries to deal with threads management and communications schemes. The approach is illustrated on a domain decomposition method for a Navier-Stokes flow
